Leaving a Legacy

Consider When life ends: be remembered that you were here.

You care about your family and the community you live in. You've lived a life that has given you the great choice of gift and opportunity; the ability to pursue your own best destiny and shape the destiny of those you love. Because you view the future from a much different perspective, you ask the difficult questions:

  • What is the measure of a good life?
  • What does it mean to leave a legacy?
  • Is what we value more important than the value of what we own?
  • What difference will my life have made?
  • Is there a way to channel my resources in a way that will teach my children to be productive citizens, help provide the critical services our community needs and still pass my valuables to my children when I die?

Casco Wealth Management, LLC, through values based legacy planning, shows you how your gift can accomplish a number of objectives including: Provide an immediate income stream to you or The West Mai Improvement Foundation, provide significant tax benefits, creditor protection and estate preservation. Your children can learn significant life lessons in philanthropy and estate planning based on your values, not your valuables.

To learn how you can be remembered, email janis.casco@lpl.com for expert help on your options

Your donation can make the stories of scary trips and late arrivals to Maui's distant hospital a thing of the past. What we need from you is help raising $4 million --$500,000 immediately-- to get us to the place where we can participate in a federal lending program.

There is no hospital in West Maui, no hospital reachable during the Golden Hour needed for survival. Your generous donation couldn't be more important to the people who live, work and visit West Maui today, and in decade after decade in the years to come. It is an investment for them, and it could be an investment for you. How much are lives worth? How much can you spare? A million? More? A half million? $100,000? $10,000? $1000?

Our hope is that each will give according to one's ability for this life-saving cause. The people of West Maui will thank you for generations to come.

Donations should be made payable to the West Maui Improvement Foundation, which is a tax-exempt organization. A copy of the letter from the Internal Revenue Service Department of Treasury will be provided to all donors. There are many naming opportunities including naming the Hospital itself. We would be happy to discuss them. How do I make my gift? Call or write Joe Pluta, President of the West Maui Improvement Foundation, to discuss your gift. On Maui: 808-661-7990 Outer Islands or Mainland: 800-367-5637 E-mail: pluta@maui.net

Mail: West Maui Improvement Association 181 Lahainaluna Road, #1 Box 10338 Lahaina Maui, HI 96761.

Mahalo.

The West Maui Improvement Foundation thanks you. The people of Maui and generations to come thank you. 50,000 people--residents, visitors, workers like those shown here live, play or work here.

MAHALO AND ALOHA
