Here are some prior examples for your thoughtful consideration
1. Make a Matching Challenge ! i.e. Long-time supporters Phil & Jo Ann Stevens pledged up to $20,000 in matching funds! Brian Hoyle also joined the challenge pledging up to $20,000 in matching funds! During April - June, for every $100 donated, Phil & Jo Ann matched it with another $50, and Brian matched it with another $50. In essence any donation that came in during that time was matched 100%!
2. Make a business supporting cooperating campaign to support the fact that your business will contribute funds to the West Maui Hospital like the two below:
a)Scotch Mist II Sailing Charters pledged to donate 10% of ticket sales during the time period, raising over $2,000.
b) Maui Zen Day Spa pledged to donated 10% of massages appointments on Saturdays, raising $500.
3. Various individual have made automatic pledges to be charged or billed monthly/quarterly to bring in steady funds.
4. Become a Founding Charter Donors for the West Maui Hospital & Medical Center (WMHMC) Foundation. Inc. Application for a 501 (c) status is approved and WMIF is seeking charter donations towards the WMHMC Foundation fund. Founding Charter Members will be specially recognized for their commitment to the West Maui Hospital and Medical Center, and their financial contribution that will set the pace for more to follow!
